Appeal for protection of Thresher Sharks

Thresher Sharks in the Philippines are most commonly spotted in Monad Shoal specifically near the Malapascua Island. These sharks provide not just diversity to the Philippine ecology but also more tourist invites to experience the beauty of shark diving in the country.

However, recently, many conservationists are now appealing for protection of these Thresher Sharks in the area due to the danger in its possible extinction. We just so hope that this appeal will become into reality.

2-Headed Shark Fetus

I’ve seen sharks, adult and baby sharks before when I was in college, but I have never seen a two-headed sharks, neither a baby nor adult one. So when I read a news that a fisherman from Florida caught a two-headed shark fetus, I never hesitated to read and even gotten curious about the said shark.

The said fisherman sent the 2-Headed Shark Fetus to an animal research laboratory and scientists found out, as shown in the image above showing a radiograph of the shark, that it supposed to be a twin or a two-organism shark but failed to completely divide. Hence, if it is just to look at grossly, one could think that it has two heads.
